You can download Word Lens for free from the Apple App Store, but the price of each package to translate language costs $4.99.
Currently the company offers only translation from English to Spanish and the opposite. The good thing about the used great solution is that the language packs are kept in the local memory of your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4G 16GB, iPhone 4 32GB or iPod Touch and you can safely use Word Lens even if you do not have an Internet connection or because it is expensive (GPRS, roaming). Currently the application does not recognize handwriting and also expected to have a problem with recognition of some special fonts, but always remains the option to enter the text from the keyboard.
Sometimes the translation will have mistakes, and may be hard to understand, but it usually gets the point across.
